Florida Sheriff’s Association
The Florida Sheriff's Association is a not-for-profit corporation made up of the 67 Sheriffs of Florida, approximately 3,500 business leaders and 85,000 citizens throughout the state.
Founded in 1893, FSA has quietly served the citizens of Florida by supporting the needs of the state's law enforcement community. It has grown to be one of the largest and most successful state law enforcement associations in the nation.
Deerfield Beach Chamber of Commerce
The Greater Deerfield Beach Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1952 with only 10 members. Today, its membership is more than 600 and growing every day.
It is a not-for-profit organization and receives funding through memberships and special events.
The mission of the Chamber is to foster an environment that creates employment, encourages tourism, enhances economic growth, and improves our area's overall quality of life. It works daily through various committees and networking functions to achieve this mission.

Florida Atlantic University Career Advisory Council
The mission of the Florida Atlantic University- Broward Career Advisory Council is to connect FAU students with the Broward community in order to provide real world activities for supporting career goals.
Kid Finders Network
Kid Finders Network, Inc. is a non-profit organization that aids law
enforcement officials, families and other organizations in need of their
services; whether it's abduction prevention education or searching for
missing children.
They try to educate children about the dangers of abduction and provide
parents with the tools they need in the event their child goes missing.
Workforce Alliance
Together with leaders from business, government and community agencies, Workforce Alliance links businesses in need of qualified employees with Palm Beach County residents seeking career advancing employment.
Business Services provide employers with a variety of professional support fully/partially funded by governmental sources.
Career Centers provide no-cost, individualized employment services to enable job seekers to successfully compete in today’s workforce.
Workforce Alliance impacts the quality of the region’s workforce linking qualified job seekers and local employers.
National Academy Foundation
We are proud to support on the job training for NAF students. The mission of the National Academy Foundation (NAF) is to sustain a national network of career academies to support the development of America's youth toward personal and professional success in high school, in higher education, and throughout their careers. NAF Academies represent business/school partnerships that prepare young people for future careers through a combination of school-based curricula and work-based experiences.
DNA Labs International supports and promotes education that furthers the understanding and knowledge of DNA applications.

Members of our staff participated in a mock trial held at Broward County's West Regional Courthouse in Plantation.
“Was Gold E. Locks a burglar? Did she willfully break into the Three Bears' house and steal their porridge?…there was DNA evidence on the porridge spoons. There was also a broken chair.”
“Scott Melett of DNA Labs International in Deerfield Beach gave the students a brief presentation on how DNA testing is done and how DNA can be used in courtrooms.”
Participation
Adopt-A-Street
The Broward County Adopt-A-Street Program empowers volunteer groups to keep their neighborhoods litter-free one street at a time. Across the country, other Adopt-A-Street programs have been implemented successfully. The program began in unincorporated Broward County in 1995.
In 2000 a county-wide program was opened to all cities as a result of a partnership between Waste and Recycling Services and Broward Beautiful. Currently there are 13 cities participating (plus Unincorporated areas) with more than 10,762 volunteers that have removed more than 132,474 pounds of litter from their adopted streets!
Adopt-A-Street’s mission is to initiate change in the littering behavior of Broward County residents while creating civic pride in communities with PASSION, POWER/ENERGY, and a POSITIVE ATTITUDE.
